Capital Project Management

First Key will partner with you and provide all the technical services to design, procure, build and commission your capital project, PLUS provide a complete project management service to recruit and manage all the project personnel, subcontractors and tasks for completing the work, supported by our project management tools and systems.

Project Initiating Phase

• Project team defined, this includes identification of required outside contractors.
• Configuration of project management tools.
• Gathering of project documents which define customers and other stakeholders, a scope outline with rough schedule and major milestones and business case constraints.

Planning Phase – Develop Project Plan

• Determine the appropriate level of detail for the project plan.
• Develop a work breakdown structure and its associated project plan and schedule.
• Implement using a project management software package.

Execution, Monitoring & Control Phase

• Continuous review of project progress
• Manage communications,
• Identify issues & find solutions,
• Keep project activities on budget & schedule
• Manage project scope to baseline project scope plus any agreed upon changes.

Closing Phase

• Ensure customers have formally accepted all outcomes
• Any required operational procedures are in place
• Identify issues & find solutions,
• Official handover to operational staff has been completed
• Formal acceptance document is created and signed by customer.
