First Key provided engineering and technical support services for a new distillery installation in a new development. Contractors and building development engineers advised the client to seek help from First Key to fill knowledge gaps. First Key conducted a review of the design and equipment, providing recommendations for changes and technical support to contractors. It was discovered that several pieces of equipment were incorrectly sized and purchased, and the building was unsuitable for the project. After exploring several alternatives with guidance from First Key ultimately, the client decided to not proceed with construction in the proposed location due to the extensive building structural retrofits required and paused the project. The support from First Key allowed the client to make informed timely decisions and prevented further costly mistakes.
