Michael is a Senior Advisor, Technical Services at First Key. He is a seasoned professional in brewing and beverage operations, recognized for elevating manufacturing performance, technical excellence, quality systems and global supply chain strategy. At First Key, Michael works with clients on operational improvement, technical and quality audits and logistics optimization.
Before joining First Key, Michael held senior leadership roles at Molson Coors Beverage Company, where he managed supply chain operations and strategic partnerships across U.S. craft, Latin America, Canada, and Europe. He led export, contract, and license-brewing partnerships, ensured supply continuity for diverse portfolios and advanced initiatives spanning new routes to market, product qualification, reverse-logistics programs, and operational transformation. Michael’s foundation in craft and innovation began at Anheuser-Busch’s Research Pilot Brewery, where he developed deep technical fluency in small-scale brewing. He later managed US Craft partners at Molson Coors, supporting operations across more than 10 craft, micro, and pilot systems. Prior to that role, Michael served as a Sr. Staff Brewer at Molson Coors, standardizing global brewing processes and qualifying international brands at new partner sites. His earlier roles at MillerCoors, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch rooted his expertise in process, packaging, and quality management.
Michael holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Dayton as well as earning IBD Brewing and Packaging Engineering Diplomas. Michael served as National Co-Lead of Molson Coors’ LatinX BRG and continues to be deeply committed to community service. He is fluent in Spanish and resides in Chicago, USA.
