Abner Yong is Chief Financial Officer at First Key and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. He is a trusted advisor to clients across the brewing, beverage, and private equity sectors, helping owners, investors, lenders, and executive teams evaluate opportunities, allocate capital, and make informed strategic decisions. Abner works closely with First Key's technical, operational, and strategy professionals to deliver integrated solutions that combine financial analysis with the firm's deep industry expertise.

In his CFO role, Abner leads First Key’s finance function, overseeing financial planning, reporting, treasury, risk management, and the financial discipline that supports the firm’s growth and operations. In client work, he brings this same practical financial lens to business planning, feasibility studies, financial modeling, due diligence, valuations, acquisitions, divestitures, post-deal integration, and governance advisory.

Prior to joining First Key, Abner held senior finance leadership positions with public and private multinational organizations and spent more than a decade with a Big Four accounting firm. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and Chartered Governance Professional (ACG) with more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, valuation, treasury, restructuring, and strategic advisory services. Abner is recognized for his ability to translate complex financial and operational considerations into practical insights that help clients execute growth strategies, navigate important investment decisions, and create long-term value. Outside of First Key, Abner enjoys time with family, travel, and golfing.
