Wendy Verbeek-Bartlett is the Director of Corporate Accounting at First Key. She is responsible for the firm’s accounting, finance, reporting and compliance, and takes the lead role in managing First Key’s financial policies, practices and processes, as well as helping to deliver efficiencies and opportunities for the company. Wendy oversees and is responsible for delivering excellent service to clients and partners in the execution of day-to-day transactions involving payables, receivables, time and billing, account reconciliation, cash management and policy compliance.

Prior to joining First Key, Wendy was a part of the senior executive leadership teams in technology, professional services, real estate, and accounting firms where she held various roles including Financial Controller, Director of Finance, and CFO. She has led auditing teams, prepared detailed financial projections, and presented financial statements at AGMs.

Wendy holds professional accounting designations of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA). Outside of First Key, Wendy enjoys golfing, gardening, and skiing where she is a Track 3 Ski School instructor and volunteer.
