Abner Yong is the Chief Financial Officer at First Key Consulting, where he focuses on corporate accounting, finance, reporting and compliance and collaborating with the leadership team on strategic planning. Abner also works with clients in the areas of strategy and finance including valuations, acquisitions, divestitures and due diligence.

Prior to joining First Key, Abner held senior roles in both public and private sector multinational companies, including leadership positions in accounting, audit, and financial planning. His career has been marked by a consistent focus on improving systems, mentoring teams, and delivering measurable results. Abner worked for a Big 4 accounting firm for over 10 years where he advised clients on accounting issues, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and post-deal integration. His work has spanned multiple industries and includes both buy-side and sell-side engagements. Abner’s ability to navigate complex transactions and align financial strategy with business goals has made him a trusted advisor to executive teams and boards.

Abner is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and Chartered Governance Professional (ACG) with over 20 years of accounting, corporate finance, treasury, and restructuring experience. Outside of work, Abner enjoys time with his family, playing golf and is an avid traveler.
