In a recent project, First Key had the opportunity to work with an established brewery in the Caribbean that was looking to expand its capacity within its current site. First Key conducted a facility audit and capacity analysis, considering factors such as brand mix, cycle times, equipment configuration, utility infrastructure, and physical space constraints. Contrary to the client’s belief that relocation was necessary for growth, First Key demonstrated that the existing facility could achieve the targets with some equipment additions and reconfiguration. First Key provided layout design files for both the current and proposed expanded facility, along with utility calculations to ensure existing infrastructure could accommodate increased cooling demands. Detailed summaries of current capacity and recommendations for optimizing production cycles and expanding on-site infrastructure were also provided, enabling the client to exceed their growth goals without relocation.
