Sangeev Parbhu is a Senior Advisor, Engineering Services at First Key Consulting. He works with brewery and beverage clients in the areas of reliability and maintenance, lean manufacturing, project management, operations management, utilities, and sustainability, delivering superior business results for clients.

Prior to joining First Key, Sangeev was the Global Maintenance Director for AB InBev where he led the maintenance function of the global AB InBev business (circa 250 plants across the world). He developed and implemented a global maintenance vision and strategy to drive operations reliability, maintenance cost efficiency and consequently improved overall performance. He was responsible for an opex and capex spend in excess of $1 billion. In collaboration with the various regions, he led and scaled a portfolio of Industry 4.0 technologies such as mobile maintenance solutions, advanced part manufacturing, on-line condition monitoring, valve and servo telemetry, planning and scheduling software, big data and analytics. Earlier in his career, Sangeev worked at SABMiller in Africa where he was Head of Engineering and provided functional strategic leadership to the company. He focused on the areas of asset management/maintenance, sustainable development, utilities, process engineering, control and automation and safety & environment across 42 plants, in 17 countries. Utilities responsibility covered steam generation, electrical systems, CO2 recovery, water treatment, effluent treatment and refrigeration systems. Sangeev played an instrumental role in delivering the Africa regions water, energy and carbon emissions plans.

Sangeev has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Graduate Diploma in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Mechanical Engineering, cum laude, University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Outside of First Key, Sangeev builds e-learning content and is a keen wildlife photographer.
