Lars Christensen is Senior Advisor, Technical & Engineering Services at First Key. With First Key, he draws on extensive global brewing and beverage manufacturing experience across Europe, UK, and APAC to provide technical and leadership excellence in brewing, supply chain transformation as well as capital and project management for brewing and beverage clients of all sizes. Lars has a passion for building sustainable operations on a pathway to carbon neutrality. He has spent over 20 years in the drinks industry, holding senior positions at Carlsberg (Denmark), Lion (Australia), and ABI (UK).

Prior to joining First Key, Lars was the Operations Director at Pinter where he led the optimization of production and logistics practices for the innovative scale-up. Earlier, he led a multi-beverage operation as Brewery Director at Lion’s West End brewery, before being promoted to Supply Chain Transformation Director, leading technical and business change readiness for the largest digital transformation project in the southern hemisphere.

Lars holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business, a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark and is a qualified Master Brewer from the Scandinavian School of Brewing. Lars is fluent in English, Danish and German, and outside of First Key is an avid motorsport fan enjoying following the Formula 1, and regularly spending time in his native Denmark with family.
