Joel Hueston
Director of Marketing and Sales

Joel Hueston is the Director of Marketing and Sales at First Key. Joel’s projects have included business and start-up planning, due diligence assignments, commercial strategy assessments, distribution strategies, branding development, corporate positioning and M&A consulting. He has worked on over sixty craft brewery start-up projects involving extensive market assessment and analysis, development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies and detailed volume projections. He is also a lead instructor for the "Business of Craft Beer" program at the University of Vermont.

Prior to joining First Key, Joel held senior marketing executive and leadership roles, including National Brand Director for Coors Light at Molson Canada and Field Marketing Director at Coors Canada where he was one of the chief architects in building the organization from scratch.

Joel earned his MBA from Athabasca University and a certificate in Marketing Management from the Ivey Business School at University of Western Ontario. Outside of First Key, Joel enjoys motorcycles, running, traveling and music.
